December 29th, 2007 — Getting Referrals
Online traffic exchanges are a perfect way to get hundreds of people looking at your splash page every day… resulting in an increase of referrals and online earnings. However, I would not call this Extremely High Quality traffic. They can be helpful and I highly recommend using a few traffic exchanges to generate more exposure to your links, just remember to use other techniques as well… don’t rely entirely on traffic exchanges.
There are two different types of traffic exchanges… Manual and Automatic. The manual traffic exchanges will give you credits when ever you click and view other people sites. The automatic traffic exchanges give you credit when ever your browser automatically loads a site and stays on the screen for a certain amount of time.
These credits are then used to have people view your site (your splash page).
Manual traffic exchanges are great because you are going to get more real people viewing your splash page. However, all the clicking can be very time consuming. Automatic traffic exchanges can run all night long without any clicking, however you might not get any real people viewing your splash page. Try a few out, there are a lot to choose from.
Here is a list of traffic exchanges:
Sign up for as many of these as you can, they are free to join. Remember when they ask for your website to type in your Yuwie Splash page url: http://yuwietip.com/i?i=YUWIEIDNUMBER
When your account is set up, start surfing and earn credits.

December 29th, 2007 — Yuwie
Ever wondered why some people are making so much progress with their Yuwie accounts and others are hardly moving forward at all???
It all comes down to knowing what to do…
If you want to be successful here at Yuwie, you need to learn some specific skills and techniques. There are no top secret websites, expensive programs, or any other holy grail of Yuwie that will grant you a truly massive referral tree. You need to go out and LEARN. All the information that you could ever need is floating around on other yuwie blogs, on other websites, in books, and in the minds of the successful ones. And once you learn enough for yourself… you then have the POWER in your hands. You can then put your KNOWLEDGE into action, create success for yourself… and finally help TEACH others what to do.
Here is the main problem that I see over and over and over again…
PEOPLE ARE LAZY!
Everyone wants a quick answer and no one has enough time to sit down and learn for themselves… and I understand that many of us work during the day and also have families to take care of at night… leaving a small amount of time to work on Yuwie. Well… I want you to make the most of the time that you have right now and learn some specific skills and techniques.
What do I mean by “skills and techniques?”
Ok lets break it down for you…
Getting referrals
Everyone understands that getting referrals is crucial to Yuwie success… There are also thousands of ways to get these referrals. However most people dont know where to start and they don’t know the techniques to maximize their efforts.
Example: Myspace
Someone signs up for Yuwie and reads around for a couple minutes… they see some blogs about getting referrals from Myspace and decide to do some recruiting. They put up their referral url links on their Myspace profile, in their announcements and leave comments on their friends pages. A couple weeks later they are still doing the same thing, wondering why they have no referrals and then decide Yuwie is a waste of time.
Person number two signs up on Yuwie and decides to take the time to learn specific Myspace skills and techniques. Reads a few blogs, sends a few messages to the top recruiters and then attacks Myspace with KNOWLEDGE. They make a splash page which is well put together and straight to the point. They make a new Myspace profile or two and use friend adder websites and programs to generate thousands of friends that are interested in earning money online. They send out messages to all their friends with a link to their splash page… within a couple weeks they already have over 100 level one referrals.
Knowledge is POWER!
I could say the same thing about Craigslist
Person 1 goes to Craigslist, makes a few ads with their Yuwie banner url and gets banned from posting new ads… result: no referrals, no hope, and no money.
Person 2 reads a few blogs, learns some basic html, researches how Craigslist works and then goes ahead with his Craigslist recruiting. They write highly target ads, full of content and keywords, optimized for search engines, pointing to his splash page url and brings in 5 new referrals a day from Craigslist alone.
Knowledge is POWER!
I am not going to go into detail and explain every single thing out to you but i think (i hope) that you get the point. When you are stuck scratching your head and wondering why you only made a dollar and ten cents for November… its time for you to ask yourself: WHAT ELSE CAN I LEARN?
Hint… if you don’t KNOW something, try searching Google.
Things that I highly recommend learning:
Basics
1. Common HTML Tags
2. Yuwie TOS
3. Getting a Splash Page
Getting Referrals
1. Myspace Techniques
2. Craigslist Techniques
3. Youtube Techniques
4. Forums and Message Boards Techniques

December 29th, 2007 — Make Money Online
Making money with Yuwie really comes down to building a large and active referral tree. Its very important to remember that Yuwie pays for page views… not referrals. However, getting more referrals is crucial to your success. The point here is to get a lot of referrals but to also make sure that they are going to be active, generating page views and more referrals on their own.
Before we continue on, there are a few basics that everyone should take the time to do. Firstly, make a cool and valuable profile. Upload some pictures, choose a layout, and personalize your Yuwie page. Why is this important? Because Yuwie is about social networking, its about interacting, and building relationships. Your profile is also going to be the first thing that your referrals check out when they sign up for a new account. Next, get familiar with the Yuwie Terms of Service, help section, and just try to get a general understanding of how the site works.
After all this, you will be ready to start working on your referral tree. Expanding your downline basically comes down to getting new referrals and then helping them learn the ropes.
1) Go crazy on getting new referrals. No excuses here… if you can’t get a single referral using my Referral Checklist then go on Google Adwords and buy some. Either way, when i say go crazy, i mean go crazy! Put your link everywhere (don’t spam), you will probably only get one heavy hitter (skilled recruiter) for every 50 or 100 referrals. And also keep in mind that around 50% of your referrals will not even be active… So you need to get a lot of them and get them soon… in a year from now everyone will already have a Yuwie account, who will you refer then?
2) Teach, teach, teach! Motivate, motivate, motivate! Your success depends on your ability to motivate your tree. Forget all the people with 0 page views… forget all the people who don’t respond to you. Don’t leave anything up to chance: post notices, post blogs, send messages, send comments, even call them on the phone if you can! Post helpful tips, tricks, and advice. Do research, tell them to read my blog, tell them to go to Oldbuddy’s profile. Tell them to go to yuwietip.com… anything to get your team motivated. Your monthly earnings will ultimately depend on how active your referral tree is. You could have 10,000 referrals but if none of them ever sign on, you wont make a penny!
Final Note: Your personal page views will not make you much money so don’t spend too much time working on friend adders and stuff like that. Also your profile design doesn’t have to be perfect. There are two types of people on Yuwie, a lot of them are just hanging out, but then theres us… the ones who are making money. Get referrals and motivate them!

December 28th, 2007 — Yuwie
One of the first questions people ask before they decide to sign up for a free Yuwie account is… does this site really pay its users? Well.. the simple answer is: YES!
When I first joined Yuwie back in August, no one had actually received a real payment. Many of the members (including me) were still skeptical, even though the site was growing out of control… Within a couple weeks people started uploading pictures of their first checks and Paypal payments.
The following is a picture of a check from Yuwie to one of its members:

In order to pay out all their members, Yuwie must first collect money from Google and all of their other big advertisers for the previous month. This is the reason why the website started around July and people didn’t get paid until September. Now the facts are in, and the proof is everywhere to see… Yuwie does pay!
Even today, the average person has a hard time grasping the idea of making money online… most people think everything that they sign up for on the internet is going to be a scam. Yuwie has proven to be the real deal, and that they will in fact pay you money… all you need is a Paypal account or somewhere that they can send the check.

December 27th, 2007 — Getting Referrals
Hey everyone! One of the first things that I did when I joined Yuwie was make a few simple videos and upload them to YouTube. This is where a lot of my new level one referrals are coming from now, and the videos have been up for over a couple months.
Almost every computer nowadays comes with some sort of program that allows you to make simple videos or animations. There are also websites on the internet where you can make videos. Find a way to throw together a movie, a clip, or something that you can upload to YouTube.
Getting people to watch them depends on the keywords you include in the video titles and descriptions and how popular or competitive those keywords are. Video sites like YouTube are so popular the search engines are constantly indexing them, so results can appear overnight literally.
In order for this to work and to generate new referrals/make more money, you must put Your Splash Page URL first thing in the video description, filling the rest with keywords and key phrases.
Your personal Splash Page Url is:
http://yuwietip.com/i?i=your_yuwie_id_number
You must remember to replace ?your_yuwie_id_number? with your actual numeric id number. What number is this? Simple, just go to your Yuwie profile page and look at the number in your browser?s URL:
(?profile/?id=THIS_NUMBER)
What are keywords and key phrases? These are just popular terms that people are going to type into Youtube or Google to search for a video to watch.
Here are some important tips to get more video views:
1. Create something shocking
2. Create something funny
3. Beautiful women always attract attention
4. Pick an attention getting thumbnail for your video.
YouTube currently makes a thumbnail preview for your video using whatever is at the halfway point in your video.
You should try to edit wisely so you can have a thumbnail preview that will make people want to click and watch your video. Or, do like LonleyGirl15 does and put a frame or two in the middle to make your video thumbnail.
5. Write a Catchy Video Title.
After you have made a good video thumbnail, its time to write an attention getting title. Try to summarize the video in a few words. Don’t use ALL CAPS or all lower case, try to Title Your Video Like This. Most people browsing videos are very impatient so get to the point. Write a title to give viewers and idea of what your video is about.
6. Write a Good Video Description - Use Tags
Don’t overlook the importance of your video description. A good video description should summarize the video in a few sentences or couple of paragraphs. This can vary depending on the length of your video. Some videos may prompt questions from viewers, so update your video description to answer questions. Also use as many tags that are relevant to your video. A good description with tags will give you more viewers from search results.
7. Choose the Right Category
This should be a no brainer, but make sure your video is properly categorized. If you put your video in the Make Money Online category when your video is of your friend getting kicked in the crotch, you will only annoy viewers. Pick the category that best matches who you think will like your video.
8. Promote Your Video
You’ve spent a ton time making and editing your video, choosing a thumbnail, crafting a catchy title with description and choosing a relevant category. You can?t rest now. If you really want your video to gain traction you need to promote it. The first thing you can do is join some of the groups on YouTube and submit your video to those groups.
Next, click the Post Video link under your video to submit to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, etc. If you really believe in your video, do whatever you can to promote it. You cant expect it to be discovered while you sleep at night.
If you do all of these things, you will be sure to get views. Keep making videos and uploading them to Youtube and the referrals will come pouring in. There are also many other video sites to post your videos as well…

December 27th, 2007 — Yuwie
Yuwie.com is a brand new social networking website that pays its users money. Its pretty much like Myspace, except you get paid! Where does all this money come from?
Well, I am sure that you are familiar with the other social networking giants such as Myspace, Facebook, and Friendster. These websites generate ad revenue of up to one million dollars per day. Recent reports state that Myspace averages around 25 million dollars a month from advertiser (mostly Google ads) revenue alone! And how much of this money is shared with its users? How much of this money is given back to all the people who generate the profiles, the music, and all the content? Absolutely zero.
Now say hello to Yuwie… Yuwie is a website very similar to Myspace except at the end of each month they pay their users a portion of the money generated from ads. All that ad revenue is divided up among the Yuwie members.
Right now Yuwie is still completely free to join and everyone gets their own personal account. When you sign up, you are paid to do everything that you would normally do on other social networking websites. What kind of things do you get paid for?
You get paid to blog, get paid to upload pictures, get paid to update your profile, get paid to send messages, get paid to post comments. You get paid whenever someone else views your profile, views your photos, views your blog, views all your friends, or views all your comments. Not to mention, you also get paid when you bring other people to the site. You get paid for every time they use Yuwie website. You even get paid for the people that they bring to to Yuwie, and this continues for 10 levels!
This is one of the reasons why people are swarming to Yuwie… you can make a lot of money, and make it all online. When Yuwie gets as popular as the other large social networking sites, members could be making over $10,000 dollars a month from the comfort of their own home.
Yuwie is very new and growing extremely fast. Now with over 2,000 new members a day, it is one of the fastest growing social networking communities online today.
